MAD BP Novice Comp Round 1: July 24, after Member Training, meet in L1 Round 2: July 31, after Member Training, meet in L1 Grand Final: August 7, 1pm during Monday Meeting, H7 Cost: Free Food: Pizza before rounds 1 and 2 Come down to Member Training at 5pm, July 24, to watch Tim Jeffrie to run through all the basics of how a BP debate works and give you all the rules and the knowledge in order to debate in this exciting style without falling down to any basic pitfalls. Once he's done, of course there will be pizza. Following dinner, it's time for Round 1 of the MAD BP Novice Competition! Anybody who hasn't debated at worlds can enter. Entry to the competition will be sorted out on the night - you can form a team now and just inform Amit on the night, or enter individually on the night as well. Entry is free and there is not only free pizza for all, but also a MAD trophy dedicated to the tournament to get your name engraved into. Round 2 will be held after training on July 31. Worlds semi-finalist and Australs Champion Tom Chapman will provide some more sophisticated training before Round 2, where most teams should have some chance to make the grand final (remember 4 teams make the grand final).
